Known as the place where the Safari comes to you, Rhino is completely unfenced, allowing wildlife to move freely through the camp. Elephant, lion, and leopard are regular visitors, a place where wildlife and people share the same gentle space.

At the heart of the camp lies the main boma — a welcoming space where guests gather to dine and relax beneath the shade of magnificent evergreen mahogany trees or around the fire pit.
Facing the lake’s shoreline, it offers the perfect vantage point to watch elephant families wander through the concession.
The sandy ground invites you to walk barefoot, and to reconnect with nature in its purest form. Unhurried and genuine, life at Rhino flows with the rhythm of the bush — simple, natural, and deeply connected to the spirit of the purest African Bush.
And along the water’s edge, or to admire the incomparable sunsets over Lake Kariba.
the ROOMS
Seven chalets are nestled within the jesse bush, raised on wooden platforms with thatched roofs and open fronts facing the lake — allowing the gentle Kariba breeze to flow through naturally. Cozy and intimate, each chalet offers the rare comfort of being completely immersed in the wild.
Inspired by the traditional BaTonga palafittas — stilted huts built on mopane poles — the chalets combine timeless design with practicality: naturally cool during warm summer days, safely elevated above the ground, and harmoniously attuned to the rhythm of the bush and the lake.
